RESIDENCY

The Jaipur Centre for Art offers a residency at the City Palace Complex, providing an unparalleled opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich artistic traditions of the city. By inviting Indian and international artists to create art in Jaipur, JCA aims to provide a residency deeply rooted in the cultural landscape of the city, allowing artists to take advantage of everything Jaipur has to offer. JCA will facilitate connections with local artisans and craftspeople, material suppliers, and curators and historians from the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum, fostering a deeper understanding of the region's cultural heritage.

JCA offers flexible residency durations to meet diverse project needs, allowing selected artists to coordinate schedules with other residents. Artists retain full ownership of works created during their residency, with opportunities for selected works to be exhibited or acquired, showcasing their contributions to the region's evolving art landscape.

Participation in the JCA residency program is by invitation, with partner galleries invited to nominate artists for consideration.
